Soulsource started djing in the mid-eighties.

He made his first steps as a DJ with hip hop music and experienced his highlights as a warm up DJ of impressive names like Dee Lite (1992), Run Dmc (1993), Young Disciples and Bobby Bird (1993) and the untouchable Gang Starr (1991).

In the mid-nineties Soulsource discovered jungle music, to which he became addicted.
His extraordinary technical skills, which he developed during the time as a hip hop DJ and the outrageous creativity of his sets helped him to establish himself quickly as one of the most wanted DJs nationwide.

His bookings as a back- up DJ seem like the "who is who" of the "crème de la crème" of the international drum and bass scene.
