On February 13th-14th, 2016 Cupid will be writing free Love Prescriptions at Turnhalle in Bern, Switzerland. He is acting as Cupid and channeling Freud to become this character. As an authority on Love he is generously listening to each visitor and prescribing advice for desires such as love, passion and dreams. Prescriptions will be written India ink on parchment. He will be available for consultation from 9pm to 2am.

Born in 1977, Cupid Ojala grew up in a conservative Mormon family in rural Bumpass, Virginia. He transitioned from female to male in 2003 and now resides in Brooklyn, New York. He earned his MFA at Parsons The New School for Design in 2012, and received his BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999. In 2015, he completed a year of a monthly performance series called Love Prescriptions. His exhibitions/performances include Art In Odd Places 2014 in New York, Lincoln Arts Gallery in Massachusetts, and The Stamp Gallery at the University of Maryland. In 2013, he performed for Ernesto Pujol in Time After Us as part of the Crossing the Line Festival for The French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF). His recent flipbook publications are, Ranger Risky, is available at Printed Matter and The Gender Wilderness Coloring Book available from the artist.
